concept
In this project, I tackled the issue of wastage in the jewellery industry and developed a solution. The project revolves around the upcycling of old and unwanted silver and gemstone jewellery into unique one-off pieces.
rationale
Using only three types of gemstones (green spot jasper, black labradorite, and Tianshan jade) for this project. I didn't want to overcomplicate the colours in the necklaces and make them look cheap. The pendants, while all different, were the main factors in how the necklaces looked when worn by an individual.
